On the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, the Charity Centre for Refugees was invited to the event organized by the UN Moldova – UN Human Rights Gala of Awards 2016, on 08 December 2016.

The United Nations in Moldova awarded outstanding achievements in human rights in Moldova in 2016 aiming to highlight and award the most valuable, innovative, efficient and participatory initiatives and actions to protect and promote human rights in Moldova.

During 17 years of its activity, the CCR team together with the UNHCR Moldova and the Bureau of Migration and Asylum worked together to protect the refugees’ and migrants’ rights in the Republic of Moldova, and contributed to their integration into the Moldovan society.

CCR hopes to attend in the future the level of professionalism and achievements in fighting the human rights, and be worthy for a recognition for such a nomination.
