On May 29, 2024, the director of the Charity Centre for Refugees, Mr. Djavid Paknehad and the UNHCR-Moldova representative, Mr. Blanc Bertrand, visited the Social Center in the town of Otaci.
During the visit, the officials had the opportunity to view the results of the implementation of the two projects within the Social Center mentioned above, carried out during the years 2023-2024, by the Charity Centre for Refugees, with the financial support of UNHCR-Moldova, in partnership with the Public Association “Bahtalo Ker” and local authorities, targeting the Social Laundry and the Social Hairdresser, intended for Ukrainian refugees of Roma ethnicity, as well as socially vulnerable locals, who have the opportunity to benefit from free services.
Thus, since the opening of the Social Center, more than people have benefited from its services.
