During the last 3 years, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) – partner of the Regional Office of UNHCR in Budapest and Bureau of Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova – has good and fruitful partnership with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Ukraine.
On the occasion of Eid al Adha (one of the most important Muslim holiday), CCR, in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Ukraine and with the financial support of the Emirates Red Crescent, organized a distribution of meat for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants living in the Republic of Moldova. The bulls were cut on Saturday in Muslim tradition (as this holiday embodies the idea of sacrifice) and were distributed on Sunday in the Community Centre in Chisinau.
CCR and the refugee community bring gratitude to the United Arab Emirates in Ukraine and Emirates Red Crescent for their contribution and wish everybody strong health in this hard period.
