MEETING OF COLLABORATION WITH THE AYDISU COMPANY

On 11th of June 2019, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), partner of UNHCR and Bureau of Migration and Asylum (BMA) paid a monitoring visit to the garment factory “Aydisu”, which exports high quality clothes to Great Britain, where during the last three months has been employed around 15 refugees and asylum seekers.

CCR Employment Counsellor, Mrs. Ecaterina Silvestru and CCR Director, Mr. Djavid Paknehad, were welcomed by the director of the company, Mrs. Galina Gencoglu who informed that refugees and asylum seekers, that are working in the factory, are employed legally, the salary is paid with all social taxes included, also they provide meal tickets and expects from the employees discipline and accountability according to the signed contracts and internal regulations.

The administration of the factory stated that they are open to accept more refugees and asylum seekers to work and, in this regard, there were discussed the working conditions, work schedule, payment for the overworked hours etc.

CCR expresses its gratitude to the serious attitude of the Aydisu company and openness to collaborate with our organization to support refugees and asylum seekers to become self-reliant in the Moldovan society. CCR Director wished them prosperity and success in their business!
