The Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) team met with a group of 15 asylum seekers that reside at the Temporary Accommodation Centre (TAC) on 11 March 2021. The meeting aimed at informing asylum seekers about CCR’s project activities planned for 2021. A special focus was put on employment counselling, social assistance and access to social lunches provided by the Municipality.
The participants shared the problems and difficulties they meet, including those related to pandemic restrictions. The discussions were led by the CCR’s Director, Mr. Djavid Paknehad, CCR’s colleagues, TAC’s Director, Mr. Valeriu Stratila, while the Senior Protection Associate at the Regional Office of UNHCR for Central Europe, Mr. Serghei Gaina, attended online.
This meeting was organized in compliance with the recommendations of the authorities to control the spread of COVID-19. Participants used hand sanitizers and ware face masks and practiced social distancing.
