On 20th of December 2018, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), partner of UNHCR Moldova and Bureau of Migration and Asylum (BMA) organized an informal meeting at the Community Centre with UNHCR’s partners. The meeting was related to the withdrawal of UNHCR Country Office in Moldova and the established collaboration with the Regional Office of UNHCR in Budapest, as well as to the coming of the winter holidays- Christmas and New Year.
At the event participated UNHCR, BMA, CCR, Law Centre of Advocates and AVE Copiii NGO. The event summarized the importance of the UNHCR’s long period collaboration in the Republic of Moldova with the Bureau of Migration and Asylum and civil society organisations in the asylum domain.
As the end of the year is approaching the partners had the opportunity to share with the successes of the 2018 year within UNHCR programme of refugee integration, as well as with challenges they faced with.
CCR acknowledges how crucial it is the role of partnership for the goodness of refugees and asylum seekers in the Republic of Moldova and highlights the fact that it strengthened the asylum system.
