Newly recognised refugees at the Ethnographic Museum in Chisinau

On 18th of October 2018, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) supported the Bureau for Migration and Asylum and Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova in organising a visit of refugees to the Ethnographic Museum and Natural Sciences in Chisinau.

It is the second visit during autumn when refugees and beneficiaries of humanitarian protection who were granted recently the status  from authorities are included in the integration activities/events. It aimed at informing refugees upon the history of the local society.

One of the primary steps towards integration is to support refugees in understanding of its customs, traditions and habits, thus becoming aware of specificities of the community. The event encouraged beneficiaries to be curios, proactive and interact with locals.
