During the round table, TAC`s Director explained in details the activities of the Centre and provided cases of the former asylum seekers. The students were interested to understand exactly the asylum procedure, including statistics, forms of international protection existing in the Republic of Moldova and they received all necessary information from the present experts, Mr. Stratila and Mr. Paknehad.

A real surprise for them was to discover that in the Republic of Moldova there are around 500 refugees and asylum seekers, the most of the persons of concern (3 500 000) are placed in Turkey and that in the world there are 68 million of refugees.
