The Public Association “Charity Center for Refugees” announces a competition for drawings, poems, and video presentations on the theme “Children Deserve a Better Future.” The competition is held in light of the World Children’s Rights Day, which marks the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child on November 20, 1989.
Participants are invited to create works that represent children’s rights (the right to a family, the right to an opinion, the right to peace, etc.).
The competition takes place from November 13 to November 20, 2023 (deadline for submissions: November 17, 6:00 PM), in two important stages:
– November 13-17: Submission of works for the competition. Drawings/paintings must be physically delivered to the office of the Charity Center for Refugees, 64 Vasile Alecsandri Street, while video presentations (up to 1 minute) and poems should be sent to the postal address: pi@ccr.md, indicating the theme of the competition, the name, surname of the author, age, and place of residence.
– November 17-19: Evaluation of works and announcement of winners.
Criteria for selecting works include originality and creativity.
Participants will be invited to the event dedicated to World Children’s Rights Day, scheduled for November 20, where prizes will be awarded to both winners and participants in the competition.
Children aged 5-17 with permanent residence in the Republic of Moldova of any ethnic, religious, social background, etc., are eligible to participate in the competition.
