Our team, in collaboration with the General Inspectorate for Migration and with the support of UNHCR, organized on 29th August a small event at the Temporary Accommodation Center on the occasion of Moldova’s Independence Day and “Limba Noastra” holiday. By participating in various activities such as dancing the Moldovan “Hora” and listening to traditional music, we tried to demonstrate to the centre residents a small portion of our culture.
Most of the residents of the centre are from Ukraine. However the centre hosts also people from other countries like: Syria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burundi, and other.
We had the chance to make the children living at this center happier, and we offered backpacks and new school supplies. We wish a bright, shiny attitude and have an awesome school year!
