On 15 November 2019, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) celebrated its 20-year anniversary from the foundation. Our organisation was created in 1999 with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to stretch a hand of help to refugees and asylum-seekers living in the Republic of Moldova on their path to integration.

During 20 years of full dedication, CCR #StandWith more than 2500 refugees and asylum-seekers that flew their countries of origin to seek for hope and peace from persecution, disasters, violence and wars.

We got through challenges and victory by hand with our generous and long-lasting partners: UNHCR, Bureau for Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Interior, International Organisation for Migration in Moldova, Chisinau Municipality, Razeni and Mereni mayoralties, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Dutch Council, the Society of Notre Dame (USA), UN Moldova, OHCHR, EU Delegation to RM, local authorities, universities and schools and more recently with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Kyiv, UEFA, Moldovan Football Federation, International Women’s Club of Moldova, Embassy of the Qatar State in Chisinau,  UN Women Moldova, SALTO YOUTH centre for eastern Europe and Caucasus and many, many others that deserves praise and gratitude.

On behalf of the director of CCR, I would like thank you so much for supporting 20 years of excellence, devotion and professionalism for refugees! We do believe that one refugee without hope is too many! That was our core principle of work!
