The Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova and “Limba Noastra” Day

On 10.09.2020, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) conducted an online conference on Zoom for the women and children from the refugee community and mix families which was dedicated to the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova (27th of August) and “Ziua Limba Noastra” – “Our Language Day” (31st of August). The presentation in PowerPoint aimed at informing participants about the local celebrations and traditions. Children were very active in answering the quiz regarding 27th and 31st of August celebrations.

In total, at this event participated 37 persons – 31 refugee and mix families’ women and children and 6 CCR’s members. This conference was organized within the UNHCR’s Project for 2020.

The refugee community thanks CCR for such kind of useful informative sessions. CCR has the intention to organize more sessions on Zoom to let the refugee community women and kids to find out more and understand better about the culture and traditions of the host country – Republic of Moldova.
