On Thursday, 21st of February 2019, took place an official meeting at the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR – Community Centre). At the meeting were present the representatives of the Regional Office of UNHCR in Budapest – Ms. Riikka Peltonen Quijano and Mr. Sergiu Gaina.
The purpose of the meeting was to answer the questions of the refugees and asylum seekers and to find some solutions to their problems which they are facing in the host country. There were discussed such questions as the integration in local labor market, state language courses, employment challenges, legal assistance and health care.
Some persons who had personal questions received consultations from Ms. Peltonen Quijano and Mr. Gaina individually.
The activity involved refugee community in the decision-making process that affects their lives, thus improving the quality of the further interventions.
