On 3 December 2016, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), representing UNHCR Moldova, were part of the 20th annual Winter Charity Bazaar, organized by the International Women’s Club of Moldova.
CCR team, supported by its volunteers, the UNHCR Moldova team and a group of refugees presented an exhibition of winter handmade articles, prepared together with the refugee children and women within CCR handicrafts circles and Integration Women’s club.
The event gathered more than 30 national and international entities, including embassies and diplomatic bodies that came together to help the SOS Autism Centre in Chisinau, Neoumanist Association in Straseni, Women’s Law Center in Chisinau –Victims of Domestic violence, Hincesti Orphanage with donations raised at the event, trying to bring more hope and happiness to the most needy.
CCR and the refugee community were happy to be able to contribute to such initiative, and people who need more help and support.
CCR is grateful for the collaboration with the International Women’s Club of Moldova, and is keen to continue this fruitful collaboration in the future.
