The Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) has been collaborating for more than 10 years with ULIM and, since October 2018, CCR signed a collaboration agreement with the International Relations, Political Sciences and Journalism Faculty (Faculty).

On 16/11/2020, CCR and the Faculty organized a ZOOM webinar for the students. This webinar and the two previous webinars are aimed to raise awareness between students regarding refugee situation in the world and in our country.

The webinar was hosted by the Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Viorica Ticu. After her introduction, the Director of CCR – Mr. Djavid Paknehad – hold a speech and then, the CCR’s Deputy Director presented a PowerPoint about the organization (which is an NGO) for a better understanding of CCR’s activities and target. The students had the opportunity to see and hear three videos from CCR’s YouTube, regarding some interesting events that CCR organized previously: football tournament, blood donation and an example of a refugee family who speaks Romanian and integrated in the Moldovan society.

At the end, the CCR’s Director told that the students can ask him their questions, as the students of this Faculty are future diplomats who should understand the situation of refugees in the world, especially in the Republic of Moldova, and the migration and asylum “language”.

Mrs. Viorica Ticu brought her gratitude to CCR’s team for sharing such interesting things which the NGO applies in practice.
