Friday, December 15, 2023, marked a momentous occasion at CCR! We hosted a comprehensive summarizing event for the year 2023, bringing together a dynamic assembly of 30 mayors from various corners of our beautiful country.

The post CCR 2023 Summit first appeared on Charity Centre for Refugees - Republic of Moldova.

Participants are invited to create works that represent children’s rights (the right to a family, the right to an opinion, the right to peace, etc.).

The competition takes place from November 13 to November 20, 2023 (deadline for submissions: November 17, 6:00 PM), in two important stages:

– November 13-17: Submission of works for the competition. Drawings/paintings must be physically delivered to the office of the Charity Center for Refugees, 64 Vasile Alecsandri Street, while video presentations (up to 1 minute) and poems should be sent to the postal address: pi@ccr.md,   indicating the theme of the competition, the name, surname of the author, age, and place of residence.

– November 17-19: Evaluation of works and announcement of winners.

Criteria for selecting works include originality and creativity.

Participants will be invited to the event dedicated to World Children’s Rights Day, scheduled for November 20, where prizes will be awarded to both winners and participants in the competition.

Children aged 5-17 with permanent residence in the Republic of Moldova of any ethnic, religious, social background, etc., are eligible to participate in the competition.

The Football Association of Moldova (FAM), represented by Mr. OLEINICENCO Leonid and his team, provided a huge humanitarian support to our beneficiaries – the Ukrainians who had to flee their homeland.

During the years, the FAM has been supporting our organization (CCR) and the refugee community in the Republic of Moldova through a variety of activities: donations, football activities, organizational support. And now, in this crisis period, the FAM has further strengthened its support to us and our beneficiaries.

Pupils from the high schools of Chisinau municipality continue to get involved and make donations to asylum seekers from Ukraine, who continue to come, seeking refuge in our country. As such, a group of pupils from the Theoretical High School “Litterarum”, but also a mother of a pupil from the Theoretical High School with Arts Profile “Nicolae Sulac”, donated food and hygiene products, toys, clothes for children and women, etc.

We are deeply grateful to the community of pupils who are not indifferent and support us in the noble cause!

Students of the 10^th grade “C” from the High School “Orizont” Durlesti Branch, together with their teacher, Mrs. Silvia, showed solidarity for Ukrainian asylum seekers and gave their support through a donation of food and hygiene products of urgent necessity.

Today were offered donations by a pro-active group of young men to help the asylum seekers from Ukraine. Pillows, blankets, clothes, toys, balls, and other useful stuff were provided to the office of the Charity Centre for Refugees to be distributed to the most needy Ukrainians. We express our gratitude to the Moldovan community for being close in our mission to support refugees in this desperate situation.

CCR will distribute uniform all aid and donations to the centers where asylum seekers from Ukraine are placed.
