In the framework of collaboration with the Moldovan Football Federation, on 8th of June 2019, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) with twenty refugee children supported Moldovan National Football Team at the official match between Moldova and Andorra.
It was for the first time when refugee children accompanied football players of both national teams to Zimbru arena before the beginning of the match. Children were dressed in national football team sport suits and had the opportunity to meet football players, go by hand with them on arena and afterwards they watched the match as spectators. The event was amazing for children who were extremely happy and enthusiastic to be part of it.
CCR and refugee parents highly appreciate the initiative of the Moldovan Football Federation to involve children in the organization of the football match and, therefore to contribute to their integration into the host society. In the end, children received certificates of recognition for their participation and contribution.
CCR and refugee community congratulate the Moldovan national football team with the victory 1-0! We wish you good luck in future matches.
