Visit to the Ethnographic and Natural Sciences Museum in Chisinau

On 20th September 2018 the Bureau for Migration and Asylum and Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova in collaboration with CCR organised an excursion to the Ethnographic and Natural Sciences Museum in Chisinau.

Refugees and beneficiaries of humanitarian protection who were granted recently an official status from the authorities became part of the integration program during which they have to visit sights to find out about local the culture and participate at informative sessions.

At the Ethnographic and Natural Sciences Museum participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with history of locals, national costumes, wedding ceremony and costumes, tools for working in the camps, kinds of soil, animals and birds that are living in the country or disappeared due to human negligence  etc.

The event aimed at improving knowledge of refugees about traditions, customs and habits Moldavians pursue and respect, to be aware of the way of living of locals and be open to share it together.
