The Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), supported by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in Kyiv and Sharjah Charity House, distributed food parcels to refugees, asylum seekers and mix families during 27-28 May 2019 at the Community Centre.
A parcel included 2 kg of flour, 1 kg of rice, macaroni, buckwheat, chickpeas, peas, sugar, beans, tea, oil, tomato paste, candies and biscuits. CCR procured around two tons of food products and distributed it to more than 250 persons, both single and families. The event was dedicated to the Holy month of Ramadan.
CCR expresses its gratitude to the UAE Embassy in Kyiv and Sharjah Charity House for the generous support to the refugee community in the Republic of Moldova, for promoting peace and prosperity for those in need.
