On the occasion of the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha, the Charity Centre for Refugees within the programme of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Ukraine and in partnership with the Mohammad Bin Rashid Global Initiatives organized distribution of gifts for refugees and asylum seekers living in the Republic of Moldova at the celebration meal which took place in an Arabic restaurant of a Palestinian refugee entrepreneur. All participants, around 200 persons, including women and children received gifts.
At the same time, on the occasion of the holiday, there were slaughtered more cows and bulls and packets with beef were distributed to refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants, symbolizing the sacrifice which is the core idea of the holiday.
