On the occasion of the anniversary of 10 years of implementation of the Republic of Moldova and European Union Mobility Partnership, the European Delegation to the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova (MFAEI) organized an Extensive thematic meeting of the European Union- Moldova Mobility Partnership Local Cooperation Platform (MP), that was held on June 12, 2018.
At the event were invited the founders of the MP, coordinators and experts responsible of the management of migration from Eastern Partnership countries, representatives of international and local organisations. The CCR’s director, Mr. Ahmad Djavid Paknehad alongside with the Head of the UNHCR Moldova and the director of Law Centre of Advocates participated at the meeting to enlarge the approaches of the implementation of the MP.
This year meeting had the objective to celebrate the 10 years of implementation of the Republic of Moldova- European Union Mobility Partnership (MP). There were shared the experiences and good practises of the national authorities in the implementation and management of the projects in mobility and migration area. The meeting underlined the role of the migration in national policies development, diaspora involvement in the development of the country, but also there were presented new initiatives oriented to the consolidation of the functional mechanism of the MP.
