Informative session on conditions of admission of immigrants on the territory of Romania

On 18th April 2019, Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), partner of UNHCR and Bureau of Migration and Asylum, at the invitation of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry of the Republic of Moldova participated at the informative session organized by the Romanian Immigration Inspectorate at the Romanian Consulate in the Republic of Moldova.

The event aimed at informing Moldavian authorities, local NGOs and other relevant stakeholders about the condition of admission of immigrants on the territory of Romania from the tertiary countries.

The main topics were related to the foreigners that graduated a higher education institution, persons that were granted tolerant status, new born babies that have the right to be with their parents and elderly that cannot be removed from the country.

At the event participated Employment Counsellor of CCR, Mrs Ecaterina Silvestru that has a huge experience in work with refugees and asylum seekers in the Republic of Moldova.
