Even though the school year started, there are children those parents still cannot afford purchasing all school supplies necessary for their education. Considering the outbreak and development of the pandemic that disrupted the daily life, many refugees lost their sources of income and jobs. Therefore, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) and UNHCR decided to rump up the efforts to ensure education for every refugee, asylum-seeking and mixed families’ child. During 15-16 September, CCR is distributing school supplies and school bags to 90 children from vulnerable families in order to facilitate their school attendance. The school supplies drive is a way to relieve one financial burden from refugee families that struggle with lots of problems caused by the pandemic.
