On January 27th, 2022, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) hold an informative session with professors and students from the Sociology and Social Assistance Department of the Moldova State University, which was attended by around 50 people.
During the online meeting, CCR presented its team, made a brief introduction in the field of refuge and asylum, by presenting the difference between the notions of migrant and refugee, global and Moldovan statistics, forms of international protection, issues faced by the refugee community. Also, was presented the full spectrum of CCR activities, with the 8 directions, as follows: social assistance, employment counseling, Romanian language learning, educational assistance, cultural orientation, raising awareness, naturalization and fundraising. At the end of the presentation, CCR’s workers answered the questions of the students.
CCR’s Director, Mr. PAKNEHAD Ahmad Djavid brings its gratitude to the Head of the Sociology and Social Assistance Department, Mrs. MILICENCO Stela, for organizing the group of students interested in the activities of CCR and who want to know more about social assistance and the life of refugees in the Republic of Moldova.
