On 23.07.2020, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) invited to the online conference by Zoom the chief doctor of the Medical Centre subordinated to the Border Police Department, Mr. Balea Marius and women from the refugee community.
During the meeting, which lasted one hour, a special place was dedicated to the current pandemic and, of course, the doctor related in detail the methods of prevention, symptoms, measures of prophylaxis of COVID-19, and where to address people in case of infection / suspicions. Also, the women asked the doctor many questions that interested them: vaccines for schoolers and preschoolers, general health problems that they have personally, where and when they can ask if they have any health problems, etc.
At this event, in total participated 24 persons – 18 refugees and mix families women, 5 members of CCR and, of course, the Dr. Balea Marius to whom we are all grateful for his time, prompt and highly professional answers given to the questions of our persons of concern. In the future, we have planned, by mutual agreement, other such kind of conferences with the persons from our target group. The refugee women brought their gratitude to the CCR for this nice and useful initiative in such a difficult period.
