The Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova and “Limba Noastra”

On 26.08.2021, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) conducted an online conference on Zoom for women and children from the refugee community and mixed families which was dedicated to the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova (27th of August) and „Ziua Limba Noastra” – “Our Language Day” (31st of August). The presentation in PowerPoint aimed at informing participants about the local celebrations and traditions.

In total, at this event participated 59 persons – 54 refugee and mixed families’ women and children and 5 CCR’s members. This online meeting was organized within the UNHCR’s Project for 2021 for the refugee community’ better understanding of the culture and traditions of the host country – Republic of Moldova.

CCR team congratulates all citizens of the Republic of Moldova, partners and beneficiaries with the wonderful celebration.
