The paintings contest that was organized by the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) in the framework of the UNHCR project on the occasion of the World Refugee Day is over. 35 refugee, asylum-seeking and mixed families’ children from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Libya and Turkey participated with a total of 57 paintings on the following topics: peace, friendship of the nations, my country. The Committee had been decided to provide presents and certificates of award to all participants. The Committee evaluated the paintings according to the established rules and selected a list of ”top five”, created by the below mentioned authors:
- Nasiri Maral, Iran
- Al-Amary Hali, Iraq
- M Kall Ahmad, Syria/MD
- Khayata Yara, Syria
- Abo Bakar Kausar, Syria/MD
The Charity Centre for Refugees congratulates the participants and thanks the children for their creativity and diligence and the people that supported them online and put like to their paintings. All participants will be invited in limited numbers due to the restrictions of the coronavirus to the office of CCR to be handed the presents starting with tomorrow, Tuesday, 30 June.
