Based on the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO) regarding the outbreak and developments of the COVID-19, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), partner of the UNHCR Regional Representation for Central Europe, initiated an information campaign of the refugees and asylum-seekers living on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Our persons of concern are informed through web platforms on the necessary measures to be undertaken in order to avoid infection, minimization of the risks and steps to be followed in case the infection occurred. By this time, around 70 single and families of refugees received posters elaborated by the WHO in various languages while today, 06 April, we started to share online with refugees and explain in their native language the recommendations of the WHO and national authorities. On the video below you can see the director of CCR, Mr. Djavid Paknehad talking with a refugee from Afghanistan in Dari language.
Health is a priority for the Charity Centre for Refugees.
