On 6th of June 2019, the Charity Centre for Refugees in partnership with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Kyiv and with the generous support of the Mohamad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, organised the celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid Al-Fitr.
The celebration gathered more than 150 refugees and asylum seekers from countries like Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, Azerbaijan and other that enjoyed a meal together and shared congratulations. All women and children received special gifts procured from the funds of the above-mentioned donors.
The event aimed at promoting cultural diversity, peace and prosperity after Ramadan fasting and strengthening the community-building of the refugees and locals. Refugee community is deeply thankful to the donors for their generosity and support.
