On the occasion of Ramadan month, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Kyiv and the Emirates Red Crescent provided food assistance to refugees and asylum-seekers in the Republic of Moldova. Therefore, on May 20, food packages were distributed to all asylum-seekers living at the Temporary Accommodation Centre run by the Bureau for Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Moldova.

It is worth to mention that food packages are also important in the context of the corona virus pandemic that affected our country as well and asylum-seekers that lost their jobs. The food assistance was provided regardless religion, country of origin or other features.

CCR expresses its gratitude to our donor from Kyiv – The United Arab Emirates Embassy and its partner the Emirates Red Crescent for the significant assistance.
