On 26th of February 2021, Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR), partner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Bureau of Migration and Asylum, celebrated the winter’s end and spring’s return together with the refugee community women and children.

At the online meeting, participated 61 ladies and kids (refugees, beneficiaries of humanitarian protection, asylum seekers, mixed families) from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Moldova and 6 CCR’s members, including the new arrived volunteer from France. At the beginning, the meeting was opened by the host with a short PowerPoint regarding the meaning of “Martsishor” („Mărțișor”) and its history. After the round of blitz-tests with questions + answers and riddles, some kids recited poems about Spring, March month and, of course, “Martsishor”.

The online meeting ended with congratulations from CCR’s team to its beneficiaries wishing them strong health and warm spring in souls!
