On 20th of June is celebrated world wide the Refugee’s Day. In order to celebrate this day the Ministry of Internal Affairs held an exhibition of paintings made by Refugee children living in Moldova. These drawings were carried out in different workshops organized by Charity Centre for Refugees, partner of UNHCR Moldova, and counted with the support of the Bureau of Migration and Asylum (BMA) and UNHCR.
It is the first time that the Ministry of Internal Affairs implements this type of initiative with refugee children and they were happy and excited because of the opportunity to go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and meet personally with his Minister, Mr. Alexandru Jizdan who at all times paid special attention to all the children and even opened the doors of his office for them.
The best paintings received a special mention and their authors received a diploma and a special present, but the Minister of Internal Affairs wanted to reward all the children for their participation in this exhibition by also giving them a diploma and a gift.
