Uniting Cultures Through Sports
We’re excited to share the incredible results of the ” Project on the integration of refugee children from Ukraine through entertainment and sports events in the multinational and multiconfessional society of the Republic of Moldova,” within the Community Support Initiative program!
On August 30th, 70 children from diverse backgrounds participated in thrilling swimming competitions, forging new friendships.
The excitement continued on August 31st with 170 children enjoying funny competitions at Dinamo Stadium in Chisinau.
This initiative aligns perfectly with our goal of integrating refugee children through recreational and sports activities, regardless of their background.
We say thank you to the Administrator of the Clubul Sportiv Central „Dinamo” Mr. Radu Șeremet and the team for being the host and organizator and to the Director of Charity Centre for Refugees Mr. Djavid Paknehad and also the CCR team for implementation.
Notably, our special guests included, Mr. Vlad Cojuhari, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. Mihail Vodă, Director of the General Inspectorate for Migration and Francesca Bonnelli, UNHCR Country Representative.
Their presence added significance to the event, and we’re grateful for their support, and we extend heartfelt thanks to UNHCR-Moldova for their unwavering support.
