On 02.10.2020, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) conducted an online conference on Zoom for women and children from the refugee community and mix families.
The meeting (which lasted about one hour) aimed at informing participants about digital risks that can put in danger their safety and identity.
The parents were informed on the ways they can support their children to surf safely on Internet and recognize the signs that indicate their children were abused, mistreated, cheated, etc. online by crooks.
In the second part of the session, women and their kids shared their first impressions regarding school know-hows during pandemic. The result showed that the schools have different methods, but the kids like more when they have lessons at school, and not online.
In total, at this event participated 37 persons – 31 refugee and mix families’ women and children and 6 CCR’s members. For the future CCR is planning more conferences or informative sessions with its target group as the pandemic situation is still looking hard and aggressive.
CCR’s staff wishes everybody to stay healthy!
