On 30th of August 2019, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) in collaboration with the Moldovan Football Federation and in the framework of UEFA programme distributed to 100 refugee and asylum-seeking children football clothes and school supplies for schoolers and pre-schoolers.
Refugees and asylum-seeking parents with their children were welcomed by the director of CCR, Mr. Djavid Paknehad and representative of the Moldovan Football Federation, Mrs. Diana Bulgaru who presented the whole project funded by the UEFA for refugee community in the Republic of Moldova and congratulated children with the school/kindergarten start.
The event aimed at supporting education of the refugee and asylum-seeking children as being more vulnerable to drop out from school and encourage them to increase their self-reliance and chances for a better life.
