The entire Muslim world, beginning with the 6th of May 2019, entered into the Holy Month of Ramadan. In the Republic of Moldova, mostly, the current refugees come from countries where Islam is the main religion.
The second consecutive year, UAE Embassy in Kyiv expresses its support and provides assistance to refugees in the Republic of Moldova through the CCR. With this occasion, on Saturday, the 11th of May, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) organized for all the asylum seekers who live at TAC a festive dinner called ”Iftar”, at the end, each person receiving a package with food products.
The beneficiaries of the event (57 people) – who are coming from Bangladesh, Yemen, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey – and CCR are deeply grateful to the organizations ”Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment” and ”Sharjah Charity House”, which in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Kyiv have fully funded this event.
