On Saturday, 17th of October 2020, the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) presented a Slide Show for the asylum seekers who are living at the Temporary Accommodation Centre, which was dedicated to the celebration of the “Patron Saint of the City Chisinau”, which is named in Romanian “Hramul Orasului Chisinau”. The presentation aimed at informing the around 20 participants about the Chisinau’s short history, interesting facts about the capital city of the Republic of Moldova and the difference between “Hramul Orasului Chisinau” and “Chisinau City Day”.

This was the first meeting within the wider chapter, entitled “Let’s discover Moldova” (in 3 languages: Romanian, Russian and English – for the understanding of each person from the refugee community), as CCR’s goal is to promote the culture and traditions of the host country – Republic of Moldova.

Stay healthy!
